What is the Lexicon of Sustainability?
We are the first generation to go from living in a world of infinite resources to one where everything has become disturbingly finite. and we are struggling to come up with a new language to express what we are going to do about it.
People are creating a new vocabulary, one reflecting new cultural and economic realities, a greater concern for the environment, a renewed sense of personal responsibility, and lastly a deeper commitment to lessen our impact on the world around us.
We welcome your contribution of new terms, stories and anecdotes to a book called the Lexicon of Sustainability.
Together we will create a definitive work, one of lasting value as our society enters a new Age of Sustainability.
